Flight Attendant - Multiple Locations
Compensation: $60,000 to $83,000 per year DOE
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for Flight Attendants for multiple locations in the US. The ideal Flight Attendant will ensure that passengers are safe and comfortable throughout flight.
About the Job
The ideal candidate ought to be customer service oriented with exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills, can speak English well and be flexible with regards to availability. Flight Attendants’ responsibilities include performing safety checks prior to flight departure, catering to passengers’ needs or concerns and demonstrating emergency procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting pre-flight safety checks and making sure the plane is clean.
Instruct passengers on the proper and safe use of seat belts, oxygen masks, life vests, and exit doors in an emergency.
Providing information and assistance to passengers in order to ensure their safety and comfort.
Making and serving refreshments and meals to passengers.
Responding to passenger inquiries concerning flights, travel routes, and arrival timings.
Attending pre-flight briefings and researching all aspects of the flight.
Leading passengers in an emergency and administering first assistance if needed.
Providing assistance to travelers with special needs, such as children, disabled people, and the elderly.
Preparing analytic reports on flight issues.
Expected to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays and be gone for days.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Cabin crew certification and training required.
Must have experience in the service industry.
Previous flight attendant experience is a plus!
Bi-lingual (nice to have)
Must be fluent in English and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must communicate effectively during high-stress situations such as aircraft evacuations, security threats, and turbulence
Outstanding problem-solving skills and aptitude to handle difficult situations.
Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.
Authorized to work in the US.
